Me: "is it a *gluten free* pizza?" Her "Oh! I, uh, missed that one". I ended up having steak and steamed vegetables, which is what I always have, but on the plus side it was *venison* steak which was interesting and tasty. Oh, and I wasn't feeling 100% so forgot a bunch of my food intolerances, that is totally not a full list :)

Created for a fanart prompt for Steampunk Pride and Prejudice. I first did just Lady Catherine and Anne but Phlebas mentioned this scene and I got inspired. I mean, c'mon, all Anne does is sit there and be anti-social, she might as well be a brain in a jar, and it makes all her scenes funnier in a creepy sort of way :) Taken from this scene.

Missing some essentials

I decided to give the trial version of "Painter Essentials" a go since the program only costs $100. Unfortunately, while it's quite good for what it is, it lacks a LOT of stuff I use for making comics, like being able to do ANYTHING with layers (masking, edge stroking, blending style/opacity chaanges, etc) or vectors. It's fine for simply *drawing* comics (linework and colouring, though it's hard to fill your colour on a different layer to your linework) but I decided it would be more fun to use the funky photo-painting option.

I was so busy drawing this I forgot to feed the cat. Twice. And she didn't complain! Now I feel bad :)
I was inspired to draw this by the fact that our internet went down so I knew I couldn't upload it (it was back up by the time I finished). I guess I and Kira (the cat) both have a contrary nature. Drawn with very bad pen on very bad paper, the first few panels during a conference talk.

Last page! I probably could have gotten away without the second panel here (and adding it messed up my layout) but it's my favourite scene from the movie. I have a feeling that if a guy drew this there'd be significantly less panels with lovehearts, and more than one with explosions :)
